There is a difference between socialism and communism. The official definitions of these two are understood in a different way in Chinese. Put it in a simple way.  If you are a true socialist, you don't kill rich land owners, declare yourself as the new aristocrats and ask people for alliance. Instead, you would respect the system and ownership of private property, put yourself under the law as everyone else, and allow the people to question your alliance.
