刚下到这张专辑，Dinah Washington － Dinah Jams。一直都喜欢Live版的Jazz，这张专辑可以算是近期的一大惊喜和收获。介绍中说，是在日本发行的版子，少了最后三首歌，可惜了一点，刚又找了一个90多M的源，不知道能否搜全。文件采用OGG压缩的，不知道能否播放正常，有问题的话，不妨从底部的链接下载后品味。因为全辑也只有40多M，所以一并上传了。

This live recording may be the best live recording ever made. Los Angeles, August 1954, probably hot as hell in L.A. that day. The room filled with people had to be hot, stuffy and "close" and this extraordinary group of musicians set them on their ear. Not only did Ms. Washington sing better than I've ever heard her sing, before or after, but the musicians here are a pantheon. Clifford Brown, Clark Terry, Maynard Ferguson, Herb Geller, Harold Land, Max Roach and others. Listen to the instrumentalists "battle" each other in their jam solos, especially in "Lover Come Back To Me". And then there's Dinah, quiet in some cuts, sounding like Jimmy Rushing in others. Amazing. This is very early hi-fi, barely hi-fi, I think. But the ambience created by this new way of recording, especially in a live recording, is so real, is so authentic, you can feel the air conditoner struggling, you can smell and whiskey and see the cigarette smoke.
