Suzanne Teng is a flutist, composer and dancer from Berkeley, California. She is a recording artist and can be heard on Polygram, BMG, Windham Hill and Shanachi as well as on numerous film, TV and commercial soundtracks. She plays a variety of flutes from around the world such as the western flutes (she has a master's degree in music performance from Boston University's School for the Arts) as well as ethnic flutes (she did Ph.D. studies in ethnomusicology at UCLA) such as the Chinese bamboo flute (dize), Turkish ney, Egyptian mijwiz, pan pipes, occarinas and many more.
